I only wanted to uninstall one program: URL Assistant. So, I checked that and unchecked everything else. When I started the Decrapifier running it began uninstalling things I hadn't checked or asked for and I didn't see any way to stop it. I had to use the Task Manager to kill it. Is this normal? What was it going to uninstall besides URL Assistant?
I'm very disappointed in this behavior. I'm not going to use a program that doesn't do what it says, gives no warning and gives me no way to stop it.
Version 1.9.1 unexpected behavior on WinXP
That behavior is definitely not normal. I will see what I can do to debug the problem and put in a fix for the next version. I have not gotten any other reports of this, so it could be a very rare circumstance.
Any progress?
Any idea what caused the problem yet? I still want to get rid of URL Assistant, but I'm not going to run the Decrapifier again until you tell me the glitch has been fixed. (Any other suggestions for removing URL Assistant will be gratefully accepted.)
